The cultural movement and activities of “Rebirth Beirut” do not stop! At the Cultural Center in the heart of Beirut, the association is preparing to launch its new exhibition in cooperation with “Artscene Gallery” entitled “Chaos Taking Shapes” which is a collection of various paintings that belong to contemporary and modern art.
The exhibition runs from the first of September until the tenth of it and opens its doors in the cultural center of the association in Gemmayzeh, Gouraud Street.
The president and founder of Rebirth Beirut Association, Mr. Gaby Fernane said:
“We noticed that the Lebanese people are very interested in culture and paintings, and they love everything new and creative. That is why we continue to provide an opportunity for this category of people to enjoy and watch the most prominent and distinguished artworks”. Our aim is place Beirut again on the world map of culture, he then added.
“Chaos Taking Shapes” is a collective exhibition including works by Lebanese masters such as: Hussein Madi, Jamil Moulaeb, Raouf Rifai, Riad Nehme, Aram Jughian, Mohamed Rawas and others and middle eastern contemporary artists:, as well as a number of emerging artists from Lebanon and the Arab region.
Part of the proceeds will go to support Rebirth Beirut initiatives which previously included a series of development projects such as reinstalling traffic lights in the capital, street lighting, road maintenance, and asphalting a thousand potholes, all of which contributed to alleviating the suffering of the Lebanese citizen.
The exhibition opens its doors daily from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm and continues until September 10.
