teamed up with Exhale [THE GYM] in a first-of-its-kind initiative in Lebanon titled
“Ride your HEART out” to offer lovers of both art and fitness the chance
to participate in a range of training classes at the gallery.
Fitness addicts were keen to shake up their routine in a truly inspiring setting and were able to choose from a selection of spinning classes, cardio and weight training, and high intensity interval training. They had a unique opportunity to burn some calories while also taking in the fantastic range of art on display at Artual Gallery.
The sessions were combined with guided tours of the impressive collection of works by internationally renowned contemporary artists showcased at the gallery and at the Artual shop.
Hania Bsat, owner of Exhale, said that the event dovetailed perfectly with the gym’s mission statement, which revolved around community building and giving the client a total experience with fitness at its heart.
“You could see that clients of both Exhale and Artual found the experience of spinning in a beautiful, trendy Beirut space surrounded by contemporary art truly exhilarating and exciting, so popping up at the gallery reaffirmed our philosophy in the best possible way,” she said.

Gallery’s owner, agreed that the “Ride your HEART Out” had shown the way
in which art was not so much a standalone concept, but rather one that could be
incorporated into any aspect of everyday life.
“Knowing that visitors found our range of contemporary art inspiring as they burned calories was immensely satisfying,” she said. “It just goes to show that today’s lifestyles are all about adopting a holistic approach to wellbeing, which includes looking after your health and surrounding yourself with positive influences.”
