Beirut, December 2015: Following its investment in February 2012 in the International Eye Hospital (IEH) in Egypt, The EuroMena Funds is proud to announce the accreditation of the hospital by the Joint Commission International (JCI), which represents the gold standard in healthcare.
Under the supervision of Dr. Camille Sirgi, Chief Executive Officer of the IEH Group, a three year strategic plan was put in place, to support the hospital in its expansionary and development projects and enhance health and safety standards. In line with this mission, a milestone achievement is being celebrated today; the acquisition of the JCI accreditation.
JCI is the world’s leader in health care accreditation and the author and evaluator of the most rigorous international standards in quality and patient safety. The Joint Commission International provides leadership and innovative solutions to help health care organizations across all settings improve performance and outcomes and achieve peak performance in patient care.

JCI will help the hospital improve clinical processes and performance, while providing credibility and external notoriety to the organization.
Dr. Sirgi who was initially a doctor practitioner in the dentistry field has played a strategic role in the achievements of the International Eye Hospital to-date. With over 10 years of experience in hospital management, he has been a core contributor to the success of several leading hospitals in Lebanon and abroad and continues to pursue the hospital’s future plans with high dedication and perseverance.
