Beirut – January22nd, 2014: On Tuesday January 13th, Shogun Restaurant and Bar opened its doors to the public in a new location on the rooftop of the iconicAn-Nahar Building in Beirut’s Central District.
Shogun, anew bar and restaurant conceptis the fruit of a venture between two big names within Beirut’sF&B industry, namely Aref Saade, the Shogun Lounge owner, and nightlife gurus and connoisseurs,Addmind, one of the top F&B and concept creation management agencies in the Middle East.
The concept will represent a sophisticated and modern hub serving exceptional Japanese cuisine during lunch and dinner, with a contemporary twist combining the dining experience with an eclectic ambiance at its unique bar, serving an extensive sake list.
Aref Saade, founder of the Shogun Lounge, currently located in Verdun, has been involved in the restaurant business since 1985 and was awarded “Best Restaurateur of the Year” in 2009’s Grumpy Gourmet Event. “We are excited to be back to where it all started at the heart of Beirut’s financial district in order for every Lebanese to experience world-class Japanese cuisine. This time, with Addmind’s expertise, we will deliver a revamped, exclusive and a first of its kind concept that joins the dining experience with a bar and lounge setting.”
