ACC built 6 out of the top 100 tallest buildings in the world above 320m height The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat have ranked the leading Lebanese contractor ACC with wide presence in the MENA region and India, in the Top Contractors’ category in its book ‘100 of the World’s Tallest Buildings’, which represents a snapshot of the tallest buildings complete or under construction at the time of publication. ACC’s position underscores their world-class expertise in building supertall buildings, having built a significant 6 out of the top 100 tallest buildings in the world, 5 of which are icons of the Dubai and Abu Dhabi skylines. This line-up includes Dubai Marina’s Princess Tower at 413m and Elite Residence at 381m, Abu Dhabi World Trade Centre’s Burj Mohammed Bin Rashid at 381m, Jumeirah Lake Towers’ Almas Tower at 360m and Sheikh Zayed Road’s Rose Rotana at 333m. Maher Merehbi, Chief Executive Officer of ACC said: “To achieve the ranking of second place in this list confirms ACC’s world-class capabilities, as the construction of skyscrapers is amongst the most complex and challenging of building processes. We are proud to have participated in the shaping of the skylines of many cities all across the Middle East and India and we look forward to the creation of more globally recognized icons in the future”. Similar to many “made in Lebanon” success stories ACC is a family owned Lebanese construction company who through its Lebanese values of entrepreneurship, hard work and perseverance, has joined the elite contractors figuring in world rankings and outstanding achievements.”
