South Lebanon, Sarafand, November 25, 2014:In line with their commitment to the development of medical and rehabilitation services, the Lebanese Welfare Association for the Handicapped (LWAH), inaugurated the touch electro neurophysiological diagnostic clinic in the NabihBerri Rehabilitation Compound (NBRC) in Sarafand, South Lebanon on November 24, 2014.
The launching was supported by touch, the leading mobile telecommunications operator in Lebanon, managed by Zain and was attended by the President of the LWAH Mrs. Randa Assi Berri and touch’s Vice Chairman and General Manager, Mr. Wassim Mansour along with several healthcare figures and renowned personalities.
Mrs. Randa Assi Berri,praised the role of the private sector and particularly that of touch, in strengthening the organization’s capabilities which always strives to achieve the best opportunities for its patients, in the process of transforming disability into an energy.
On his part, Mr. Wassim Mansour reiterated touch’s commitment to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and continuous efforts to achieve full integration of persons with special needs in the community, adding thattouch’s partnership with the LWAH dates back to more than four years.
The ceremony was concluded with a cocktail reception in honor of the audie
