Nissan Micra encourages safe driving at a small monthly cost
How much more would you pay to ensure your safety and that of your family while driving? With the hard economic situation the country is facing, consumer’s choice turns automatically to low cost cars. Monthly payments for a small-segment vehicle are usually at $260. But did you know that you can add an extra $15 to that and purchase a Nissan Micra, at $14,900 including VAT and registration, receiving all the reliability and safety of a premium car in comparison to similar models available on the market?
Mr. Fayez Rasamny, Chairman of RYMCO, exclusive distributor of Nissan in Lebanon, commented on the complete package its B-segment model provides. “The Nissan Micra is our most affordable model in the Nissan line-up, including a wide variety of features even in its base model. The 2014 Micra is not only economical, with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, but also incredibly safe with two airbags, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, and separated front and rear head rests,” he declared. “It is important that we do not compromise on safety for market share”.
Safety is crucial in Lebanon considering that seventy-five percent of the country’s geographical terrain consists of hills, mountains and inclines, requiring a minimum engine size of 1.5-liters in order to ensure a powerful and confident drive.
Adhering to the Global New Car Assessment Program (GNCAP), an international standard for public safety and health that all vehicles should benchmark, Nissan Micra is manufactured with a minimum of two airbags and an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), additionally equipped with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist and Anti-theft Immobilizer system, a feature preventing all RYMCO vehicles from being stolen, allowing only the sole owner of a chip-enabled key to operate it. This feature also aims at lowering the monthly average of 135 stolen cars in 2013.
Contributing to the level of safety within the Micra is its built-in W-body platform, a layout tested to bring added strength and stability to the entire build of the B-segment model, further amplifying the brand’s stance on safety.
Nissan, holding almost 50% of the Japanese market share in Lebanon, is the market leader in B-segment and C-segment sales primarily due to the importance RYMCO places on safety. Don’t compromise on your security. For 15$ more per month, you can buy 8 cups of coffee. It can also buy your safety with Nissan Micra.
