The year 2015 ended on a high note for the Renault Lebanon Group (comprised of Renault and Dacia brands). Up 13% in sales, they achieved their best performance yet. The group maintains its position as Lebanon’s market leader in light commercial vehicles (LCV) under 3.5 tonnes for the fifth consecutive year. Renault is also the most sold European brand in Lebanon.
The launch of Renault’s Sandero Stepway Automatic and Duster 4×4 Automatic models contributed to the increase in sales and the acquisition of new market shares. The Renault brand offer young, trendy and modern models, like the Clio and Captur, which are successful with Lebanese customers.
The launch of the Dacia Logan in automatic drive will help sales boom again in 2016.
According to Pierre Heneiné: “In 2015, Renault Group sales positively increased in the Lebanese market, with an upward surge of around 13%. The Renault Group maintains its leading position in sales of commercial vehicles and in sales of European vehicles.”
The reputation of the Renault Group is well established, especially regarding reliability and excellent quality-to-price ratio.
