Beirut, 5 June, 2017 – “With Maserati it’s all about control.
I first tried the Maserati Ghibli. Pronounce it “gib-lee.” It’s named after an African desert wind.
I am a big fan of the Ghibli’s luxurious and sporty interior that offers unprecedented comfort, mixed to an aggressive exterior and a dynamic Italian design that makes it unique in this segment.
It is a gas guzzler, an outstanding brake system and the V6 engine gives power a whole new meaning.
I’ve tested both models. The Ghibli S is the perfect Italian luxury sports sedan offering thrilling performance levels with its 410 horse power turbocharged engine and 8-speed automatic transmission.
If you choose the Q4, this will add a greater handling and higher emotions due to the all-wheel drive.
I have also tried the Levante, Maserati’s first SUV. It is posh, quick and sporty.
Basically it fits the template of modern high-end SUVs – a big, powerful five-door hatch, standing tall, wearing design cues from its maker’s luxury saloons and coupes.
The design, both inside and out, is on the more extrovert end of the spectrum, but it’s certainly not outlandish.
The Maserati Levante combines a luxurious sports sedan and an SUV, it offers high handling levels on our slippery roads therefore very safe due to its all-wheel drive and well balanced wheelbase.
The Levante V6 turbocharged 3.0 liter engine achieves great performance levels; the experience includes a on demand sound boost increasing the driving pleasure.
The overall design exterior and comfortable interior is very distinctive with an Italian touch.
Bottom line, there’s no doubt you’ll feel more powerful saying you drive a Maserati”
