Porsche Club Lebanon organized its first “Ride for a Cause” on Sunday April 27th, 2014. This ride was dedicated for the support of “Heartbeat – La Chaine de l’Espoir”, which has been generously treating children with heart diseases since 2005.
A record number of more than 100 club members gathered in front of Porsche Center Dbayeh and departed for their charity ride towards Rachana where they had a stop at the iconic Basbous Family Museum. A fundraising lunch took place then at “Batroun Village Club” gathering the “Heartbeat” and “Porsche Club Lebanon” families together.
Mr. Joe Feghali, President of the Club, addressed a word assuring Porsche Club Lebanon’s commitment to social service through its series of “Rides for a Cause”, announcing the dedication of all proceeds of the day to support Heartbeat.
Head of Porsche Center Lebanon Mr. Assaad Raphael commanded this initiative and announced as well Porsche Center’s commitment to dedicate an equal amount in support of Heartbeat.
With the presence of Mr. Maxim Chaaya, the famous sportsman, mountaineer and explorer from Lebanon, Mr. Wadih Renno Managing Director of Heartbeat received the donation cheque.
This event took place with the generous support of Moka & More, Batroun Village Club, Gustav innovation sucree, Printcut and Cornerstone Public Relations.
Finally, this ride is only the first in the Club’s social responsibility program. It will be soon announcing the cause to which the next ride will be dedicated.
