It has been two decades since Century Motor Company (CMC) partnered with Hyundai Motor Company to be the exclusive distributor of Hyundai passenger and commercial vehicles in Lebanon. Following the great success and growth secured by CMC for Hyundai on the Lebanese market during that period, Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), the largest shipbuilding company in the world, granted CMC the sole distributorship of its construction equipment and forklifts in Lebanon.
To celebrate this new venture, Century Motor Company hosted an event attended by Middle East Regional Manager Mr. Tony Cho, Chairman of the Board Mr. Walid Rasamny and General Manager of Construction Equipment and Forklifts Mr. Ghassan Gharzeddine. Also present were businessmen and contractors, who visited the new showroom to learn about Hyundai’s construction equipment and forklifts, and complimented the advanced technologies on display.
During the event, Mr. Rasamny commended this pioneering step, confirming Century Motor Company’s commitment to maintaining the highest level of service it has been offering its clients.
Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) provides heavy construction equipment for businesses worldwide, and has known tremendous success both in the Middle East and globally. Century Motor Company’s HHI arm will propose a vast product line-up of excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders, forklifts, and generators.
Century Motor Company continues to lead the Lebanese market in after-sale services, working relentlessly to cater to all its customers and ensure the most convenient and satisfying experience. Therefore, CMC will offer a fleet of mobile garages, designed to provide quick and efficient accommodation to our customers, by servicing products on location.
Hyundai Heavy Industries’ commercial operations were officially launched from the company’s offices and main showroom located at CMC’s Zalka headquarters, along the Beirut-bound highway. The company has preliminary plans to open two new showrooms for construction equipment and forklifts within the year.
