As an annual tradition, BUMC, the exclusive distributor of Toyota and Lexus in Lebanon, organized a gathering with the elite of press and media personalities in one of its showrooms at Toyota-Lexus City in Hazmieh. Several events characterized this year’s gathering, such as the unveiling of the all-new 2015 Toyota Camry in the Lebanese market, considered one of the most successful midsized cars in the world. However, the second event was the completion of Toyota’s world-renowned small segment lineup featuring the Yaris hatchback, Yaris sedan and Corolla that are experiencing smashing success within the Lebanese market.
During the event, Dr. Fred Boustany, President & CEO of BUMC, delivered a speech in which he highlighted Toyota’s future strategies during the 2015 fiscal year within three pillars: Environmental Technology, such as the revolutionary launching of the MIRAI Hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle in the global market, Toyota’s unsurpassed dedication to Safety Technology and Toyota’s design. The highlight for most guests was Dr. Fred’s presentation of the evolution of the Corolla models since the first generation in 1960s. The advancement of the Corolla is only one example of TOYOA Motor Corporation’s global vision and manufacturer DNA of ‘Ever-Better Cars’. Dr. Boustany also stressed BUMC’s synergy with its mother company and its dedication to excellent customer satisfaction to enhance Toyota’s best-in-class model line-up. The attendees then enjoyed a seated, gourmet lunch that crowned this gathering.
