Beirut, Lebanon – September 2026 – The British Lebanese Chamber of Commerce (BLCC) has officially joined the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) International Network, a major milestone that significantly strengthens the Chamber’s ability to connect its members with the wider UK and international business community.
The BCC International Network brings together over 75 international Chambers of Commerce and business groups across the world, directly linked to Chambers of Commerce in every region of the UK.
Through the network, the BLCC will work to create tangible opportunities for its members through business introductions, trade and investment opportunities, international networking, knowledge-sharing, events and trade missions.
Farid Chedid, Chairman of the BLCC, said:
“Joining the BCC International Network gives the BLCC a stronger global platform from which to support our members, create new business opportunities and further strengthen commercial ties between Lebanon and the United Kingdom.”
H.E. Hamish Cowell, British Ambassador to Lebanon and Honorary President of the BLCC, said:
“I warmly congratulate the British Lebanese Chamber of Commerce on joining the British Chambers of Commerce International Network. This is an important milestone that will further connect the Lebanese and British business communities, creating new opportunities for trade, investment and collaboration. The British Embassy is pleased to support the BLCC as it continues to strengthen commercial ties between the UK and Lebanon and build meaningful connections between businesses in both countries.”
