Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 22 June 2026: Camping in the Rainforest returns to The Green Planet™ Dubai until October 2026, combining the adventure of overnight camping with close-up wildlife encounters and hands-on nature experiences in the region’s only indoor tropical rainforest.
Back by popular demand, the overnight adventure invites guests to experience the rainforest in a whole new light as the biodome transforms after dark. From nocturnal wildlife encounters and guided expeditions to storytelling, exploration, and hands-on discovery, every edition promises an unforgettable adventure among more than 3,000 plants and animals.
This year’s programme will feature three themed editions, each offering a different take on the overnight experience:
Jungle by the Moonlight (June)
As the rainforest begins to quieten, families are invited to explore a more mysterious side of the biome. Guided by expert biologists, campers will wander through the rainforest after dark, listen to the sounds of the night and discover the fascinating creatures that emerge after sunset.
Rainforest Rovers: Expedition Edition (July)
In July, families can switch into adventure mode for a night of hands-on discovery in the heart of the rainforest. With flashlights in hand, campers will enjoy scavenger hunt-style challenges, interactive activities and close-up wildlife encounters designed to spark curiosity and excitement.
Legends of The Green Planet (August)
This enchanting edition brings together storytelling, creativity and animal discovery in a way that captures the imagination. Inspired by the magic of the rainforest, families can enjoy themed activities, interactive moments and memorable encounters with the creatures that make the jungle so fascinating.
Each overnight stay includes a buffet dinner, nocturnal biome tour, entertainment centre access, a morning back-of-house tour and animal feeding session, and buffet breakfast. Guests stay in fully prepared tents equipped with mattresses, sheets, pillows and blankets, while some of The Green Planet™ Dubai’s best-loved residents, including Lemon the sloth, Kendrick the lemur and Avo the anteater, remain part of the overnight experience alongside other free-roaming animals such as birds, and geckos across the biome.
Given the continued popularity of the experience, The Green Planet™ Dubai has introduced its most accessible pricing yet for Camping in the Rainforest, with overnight packages now starting from AED 790 for a tent for two.
Combining adventure, education and exclusive after-hours access to the biodome, the experience remains one of Dubai’s most unique and sought-after seasonal escapes for families and adventure seekers.
