First founded in 1998, Saint Antoine de Padoue Horsh Tabet is a scout group that gathers more than 350 girls and boys, members of the two major Lebanese scouting movements: “Guides du Liban” and “Scouts du Liban”. These two associations are leading NGOs among the Lebanese youth, promoting humanitarian values and having “Always Ready to Serve” as their motto.
The Group is proud to launch its 28th annual Food Bank, which will take place on the 20 and 21st of December 2025; a project that aims to gather sufficient sustenance for a whole year to more than 500 families in need from the Saint Antoine de Padoue parish. We truly believe that the Christmas spirit is ideal for such an endeavor.
The guides and scouts of Saint Antoine de Padoue will be stationed at more than 40 major supermarkets across Lebanon.
In order to properly fulfill our mission, we must ensure the necessary requirements. This is why we rely heavily on the support of people or firms who believe in our cause and are willing to sponsor our deed against hunger in Lebanon. Their contribution could be financial as well as logistical.
Your participation, be it of any kind, would greatly fuel the success of our Food Bank.
The Food Bank is a highly organized project that requires exceptional finesse in its planning and execution, impossible without well-prepared logistics and certainly our committed volunteers.
Thankfully, our 27 years of experience have greatly taught us to meet these standards.
In order to give you a better idea of our needs, here is a list of our requirements for our 250 volunteers:
• Vehicles (vans, SUVs, etc.) to transport the gathered products from the supermarkets to our headquarters in Horsh Tabet.
• Flyers printing
• 2 lunches
• 1 dinner
• 4 snacks
• Water bottles
• Fuel coupons
• Financial support
• 500 recyclable boxes to pack the food items gathered. •Cleaning and sanitizing products
By sponsoring our project your corporation will benefit from diverse advertising campaigns. The Group Saint Antoine de Padoue will display your company’s name and logo on:
• All advertising publications for a week (flyers, posters…) •All television promotion
• Radio stations
