BEIRUT – May 6, 2025: The Project Lebanon exhibition kicked off in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam, Ministers of Industry Joe Issa Al-Khoury, Economy Amer Bisat, Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamni, Minister of Displaced Affairs and Minister of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence Kamal Shehadeh, and a number of ambassadors and economic attachés.
The Minister of Industry, representing the Prime Minister, opened the exhibition and toured its sections, after which he delivered a speech in which he saw this exhibition as a signal for the beginning of a new phase for the reconstruction of Lebanon, stressing that it brings together Lebanese energies with foreign expertise, which is very important for economic growth, especially in sectors related to renewable energy and infrastructure that are essential for the development of areas far from cities.
“It is time to get rid of the culture of death and war and teach our children the culture of life and reconstruction,” he said. ” It is noble to die for one’s country, but it is far more meaningful to live for it — to contribute to its development and growth, and to put an end to the emigration of our youth abroad.” he added.
Shehadeh said that the event returned to Beirut after a forced hiatus imposed by compelling circumstances in the country, to confirm that Lebanon, despite everything it has gone through, is still capable of rising. It not only sheds light on the latest developments but also gives real hope for rebuilding Lebanon, in a way that is in line with technological progress and the aspirations of new generations.
“Our project in the government, and our economic vision, is primarily based on supporting the partnership with the private sector and activating it as a key partner in rebuilding infrastructure, serving the transition towards a modern knowledge economy, where technology and innovation are at the center of development.”
He added: “To those who say, ‘You cannot build a country, you will not establish a republic, you will not break the vicious cycle of corruption and mismanagement of public affairs,’ your answer should be: ‘We aspire to and are working toward a stable country that upholds the constitution and the rule of law, with a thriving economy.”
He concluded by affirming that today we are moving in the right direction and continue the march to secure the future of our children in this country.”
Following the opening ceremony, the Prime Minister toured the exhibition halls, where he explored the latest equipment, materials, and technologies showcased by the exhibitors. He emphasized the exhibition’s role as a key driver of economic recovery and reconstruction in Lebanon.
Taking place at a critical stage in Lebanon’s recovery journey, the exhibition serves as a platform bringing together over 250 local and international exhibitors from countries including Italy, Austria, France, Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and others — reflecting the spirit of international cooperation in support of Lebanon’s construction, energy, environmental, and reconstruction sectors.

The exhibition is open to specialized visitors from May 6 to 9, 2025, daily from 4pm to 10pm, with the Interiors Lebanon exhibition dedicated to interior design and decoration, providing a comprehensive environment for professionals in the integrated sectors.
