- City Centre Beirut provided the public with live shows and performances in celebration of Christmas at its Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 3
Beirut, Lebanon, 12 December 2022: Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, hosted its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Centre Beirut on Saturday, December 3, providing customers and the community with a memorable start to the festive month. Celebratory activities included live shows and performances and Christmas carols sang by children, among many others.
Building on its annual tradition for the 9th year in a row, the event was held this year with the aim to bring joy to customers and the public and build on City Centre Beirut’s commitment to standing with the Lebanese community, continuing to spread hope during this festive occasion.

During the ceremony, City Centre Beirut discussed its recent collaborations with renowned non-governmental organisations – Dar El Aytam and Beit El Baraka – reiterating its commitment to giving back to the communities in which it operates.
Karkour added:“We are also proud to be announcing that, at City Centre Beirut, we will be implementing a strategy during 2023 that looks to widen our F&B offerings at the mall, providing our valued customers with a range of choices. This year, we have successfully introduced a total of 17 new brands at the mall and look forward to providing our customers with more enhanced offerings – all in line with our commitment to creating great moments for everyone, everyday.”
During the event, City Centre Beirut also announced that they will be bringing back and hosting international shows during the next few months, which the public can follow on its social media platforms.
