About the House of Christmas
The House of Christmas (HOC) is a non-governmental organization that started its activities in 2017 to assist families and individuals in distress across Lebanon. HOC stands for the house as a place of shelter, a basic right for every human being and a symbol of strong foundation in life. HOC helps people regain their dignity, achieve their purpose and build a sustainable life. Since the August 2020 explosion, HOC has expanded its activities and supported numerous micro businesses, rehabilitated heritage buildings, and created partnerships with other NGOs to provide medical care and psychological support to those affected by the blast, all under the emergency relief campaign Together LiBeirut.
