Lebanon, Beirut – On Thursday, 1st October 2015, Perrier organized a successful soiree on the rooftop of the Mövenpick Hotel, one of Beirut’s most lavish five star hotels situated in Raoucheh, overlooking the mellow waves of the Mediterranean Sea. As an ode to the farewell of summer, Perrier gathered distinguished guests from the media, famed celebrities, reputable businessmen and revelling jet-setters, to partake in a refreshing night to remember.
At 7 pm that evening, the goodbye summer party had gotten under way, and incoming guests were warmly greeted with a green illuminated lightshow, the colour that has made Perrier’s bottled water so universally renowned. As they walked further onto the rooftop arena, the guests were instantly met with all things Perrier, from green poufs and cushions to dispersed bean bags and artificial trees, all displaying Perrier’s eye-catching brand. All of this was topped off with a high-res screen that overlooked the guests’ arrival, playing a continuous loop of Perrier’s instantly recognizable hot air balloon advertisement, made famous by Ogilvy Paris.
As the rooftop filled out with more incoming people, guests were then treated to an overflowing selection of high-end finger food, served on tables where Perrier branded miniature hot air balloons were carefully placed in keeping with the motif of the evening. They enjoyed the food all the more as it was soon accompanied by the soothing and chillaxing sounds from Lebanese singer ‘Latoya’ and her band. As people swayed with the music, they were invited to wash down the delicious finger food with a serving of various fruity cocktails from Perrier’s famed mixology bar, refreshingly quenching everyone’s thirst.
As ‘Latoya’ and her band finished their set, the enraptured crowd were enthralled to see the night carry on with the house D.J.. The evening progressed with fun, merriment and laughter as people got up, danced and frolicked about. The event may have ended at around 10 pm, but guests were never shy of a drink in their hand, as Perrier put on a spectacle of models, dressed up in bubble-laden costumes, serving Perrier’s signature mineral water in long green fanciful tubes
As the sun waned and waved a last goodbye for summer 2015, Perrier proved that it could once again organize an evening of great marvel and refreshment, reaffirming the notion that this brand is certainly a host for all seasons.
