Designed for the contemporary, sophisticated and self-confident woman, the Montblanc Bohème Product Line welcomes two new Manufacture Perpetual Calendars – a new Full Calendar and four new Day/Night models. .
Bohème is Monblanc’s key feminine product line that interprets the codes of fine watchmaking in a distinctive way. The product line blends simplicity with timeless design and features refined complications for today’s independent women.
The Bohème timepieces feature polished cases with slightly curved and faceted horns, sculpted onion crowns and bezels set with sparkling diamonds. The dials are crafted with traditional decorative techniques, such as guilloché and gem-setting, and include leaf-shaped hands, floral Arabic numerals, minute scales with raised dots and internal hour rings, all enhancing the refinement of each model.
The moon phase complication is a recurrent feature in the Bohème product line, displaying the portion of the moon that is lit by the sun and that can be viewed from Earth. This romantic and practical complication is one of the earliest horological complications and continues to delight women today as it did centuries ago.
New Bohème Expressions
Montblanc Bohème Product Line | Watches Page 1The new Bohème Manufacture Perpetual Calendar welcomes a brand-new in-house perpetual calendar, the calibre MB 29.22, that indicates the hours, minutes, day, date, month, moon phase and leap year in an extremely legible way thanks to its large counters at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. The movement took three years to develop and is composed solely of wheels, in contrast to most perpetual calendars that use levers. This enables the user to adjust the watch via the crown in both directions, making it far simpler to set. In addition to this, another new safety feature developed by the Montblanc movement engineers prevents the user from setting the watch between the hours of 8 pm and 12 pm, when any manipulation could damage the movement as the correctors are locked. The new Montblanc Heritage Perpetual Calendar is powered by a self-winding movement with a 48-hour power reserve and is also equipped with a very practical dual-time function and a 24-hour indicator, which are both very useful when travelling. Housed in a new 38 mm case set with 58 diamonds, the new Montblanc Bohème Manufacture Perpetual Calendar comes in a choice of steel or red gold and is certified by the Montblanc Laboratory Test 500. The gold version is limited to 100 pieces.
The new Montblanc Bohème Full Calendar comes in a 36 mm steel case and features a full calendar complication in a pure and elegant aesthetic. The indications include the month in an aperture at 12 o’clock, the date around the outside of the dial and a moon phase at 6 o’clock. The sophisticated dial is highly legible thanks to a precise minute track with red gold-colored dots for the minutes as well as for the date. Completing the overall design, the timepiece is equipped with a brand-new blue grené calf strap.
Two new Bohème Day/Night models are available in a 30 mm case size, and two additional models come in a 34 mm size. The day/night indicator allows the wearer to know whether it is day or night just by glancing at the dial. The day is indicated by a light blue sky and golden sun, while the night is represented by a smiling golden moon in a dark blue sky adorned with stars. These refined models feature a new aesthetic with red gold-coated elements on the dial and the option for a new blue grené calf strap. The Bohème Day/Night complication is as romantic as it is practical as it can be easily adjusted via the crown without accidentally changing the date.
