ProSep, the manufacturer and provider of novel mixing technologies, is continuing to support ambitious LNG development and supply plans in the U.S. through a new order for its most popular natural gas conditioning solution.
On behalf of a longstanding client, ProSep has received confirmation of receipt for two of its Annular Injection Mixers (AIM) to support an LNG facility in South Texas. The facility is responsible for exporting LNG to several domestic and international markets, with the use of ProSep’s AIM technology helping to achieve efficient mixing of LPG into the natural gas feed to the plant.
Custom-engineered to fit the specific process parameters required by the client, each AIM mixer that is designed and manufactured by ProSep provides optimized liquid droplet formation and dispersion, ensuring complete and rapid vaporization.
This order follows previous deliveries to the same facility, demonstrating the client’s long-term trust in ProSep’s AIM technology.
The previous order, delivered in mid-2024, is currently on-site waiting for installation into the facilities’ process unit piping and is scheduled for commissioning in 2027.
Once placed in operation, the AIM units will serve as critical elements of the heavy hydrocarbon removal system to protect the liquefaction circuit from hydrate formation.
Delivery of the newest AIM units is due by the end of the year.
John Sabey, ProSep’s Chief Technology Officer, commented: “There is no bigger endorsement of the effectiveness of our solutions than the clients we have had a longstanding collaboration with. Upon delivery of this latest order, we will have supplied 5 AIM units to the facility in South Texas for this project.
This is a clear demonstration of not only the reliability of our technology and its role in supporting LNG applications, but also an endorsement of working with the ProSep team and how we develop solutions to suit specific process requirements. This new contract is a great way for us to begin the year, and we will now be working hard with our partners to manufacture the two units for a 2026 delivery.”
