Fulkrum Technical Resources (FTR), a global provider of technical personnel specialising in QA/QC, inspection and vendor surveillance services to the energy industry, has expanded its western hemisphere business with the launch of its new office in Brazil.
Located in downtown Rio De Janeiro, Fulkrum Brasil will provide advanced support and services to clients located in Brazil and Central and South America. The new strategic location joins Fulkrum’s global network of offices which span the USA, Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
Brock Falkenhagen, Fulkrum’s regional manager for America’s, who has been instrumental in setting up the Brazil office said: “This has been in the pipeline for some time now and we’re delighted to see it come to life. The launch of this office marks a strong end to 2020 and creates a platform for further growth in new regions in 2021.”
FTR has appointed a local country manager, Rodolfo Paciello. Mr Paciello has nearly two decades QA/QC and Integrity engineering experience. Rodolfo joins FTR having previously gained experience at T H Hill Associates, Qualitech IRM, Fearnley Procter International, and Joint Oilfield Services Solutions & IRM Services in Brazil.
Commercial Director Owen Gibbons added: “After finalising official registration in May, we took our time to carefully appoint the right person to run this exciting new office. Rodolfo is a great addition to the Fulkrum team, and we are already making fantastic progress in developing the Brazilian market.
“Brazil has been part of our strategic growth plan for some time, so this is a significant milestone – particularly during such a difficult year – but seeing how our other global offices have performed, we’re excited to see what we can do in Central and South America.”
