Leading global engineering specialist and pipeline maintenance expert, Wellube, a Unique Group company, has announced the appointment of Garry Kidd as Managing Director, as it completes a major rebrand as part of the renewal of the business, strategy and corporate vision.
Beginning his career in the North Sea, Garry, brings over 13 years of experience in senior leadership positions to the role, 10 years of which were based in the Middle East. Previous roles in global organisations including Weatherford, Hydrasun and Proserv have seen him build customer-centric businesses in the energy industry and achieve business growth using a hands-on approach.
Garry will be based at Wellube’s headquarters in Sharjah, UAE. From here, he will enhance and develop the services portfolio whilst expanding the company’s global network. Investment in the company’s new visual identity reflects its ambitions for growth, and with secured long-term service contracts in excess of $4 million, further strengthens its market position.
