Beirut, Lebanon – September 29, 2025 – QOOT Cluster, Lebanon’s leading agrifood innovation cluster, proudly announces the launch of the third edition of the Agri-Food Innovation Award 2025 (AFIA 2025), the nation’s premier platform dedicated to showcasing innovative products and recognizing innovative producers in this vital sector.
Held under the Patronage of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Industry in Lebanon, AFIA 2025 reaffirms Lebanon’s potential for growth, spotlighting the strategic role of innovation in the agrifood sector in boosting the economy, enhancing competitiveness, and promoting food security and sustainable development.
Under this year’s theme, “Lebanon Rises with Innovation,” QOOT Cluster invites all agricultural and food companies to showcase their innovative products by applying for the award, strengthening their presence on Lebanon’s innovation map.
The winners of the Agri-Food Innovation Award 2025 will be announced during a high-profile ceremony to be held on November 27, 2025, gathering representatives from political, diplomatic, industrial, and economic sectors, as well as international partners and researchers.
The Agri-Food Innovation Award 2025 is made possible through the partnership of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lebanon (NLIN), the European Union through the Euromed Clusters Forward (ECF) program, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Together, these institutions bring expertise and support to foster innovation in the sector. Furthermore, the award receives significant support from a wide range of local partners, including private companies, associations, universities, and research centers.
Winners of AFIA 2025 will receive:
- Research and Development (R&D) voucher provided by prestigious Lebanese research centers and universities.
- Prizes from QOOT partners.
- Access to mentoring, networking, and potential collaborations with leading agrifood stakeholders.
