KAM Architects, the design-build practice led by architect Karim Abou Mrad, unveils its first commercial project Reset Haus.
Having built its reputation through residential architecture, KAM approached Reset Haus with the conviction that the qualities that make a house feel like home can and should exist beyond the domestic realm. Rather than adopting the conventions of commercial wellness spaces, the studio reinterpreted them through a residential lens, creating an environment that prioritizes comfort, emotion, and human connection.
Rather than simply accommodating wellness, the architecture itself becomes an active participant in the experience. Designed as a sanctuary within the city, Reset House has been intentionally curated to foster a sense of calm, balance, and presence through every material, proportion, texture, and sequence.
“I’ve always believed that spaces have the power to influence how we feel,” says Karim Abou Mrad, Founder of KAM. “Reset is our interpretation of a modern nest: a place where the outside world fades away, allowing people to pause, reconnect, and simply be.”
With this project, KAM demonstrates that the principles of residential architecture can extend far beyond the home by bringing the warmth, familiarity, and emotional resonance of domestic spaces into a commercial environment.
