50 000 masks donated to Lebanese hospitals
Donations to 23 Lebanese associations including Lebanese Food Bank and Beit el Baraka
600 000$ dedicated to support the Lebanese community
With the Covid-19 crisis we are facing, the CMA CGM Group launches the second phase of its solidarity plan, to tackle the country’s sanitary and humanitarian challenges, with a donation of masks and foodstuffs.
To assist those who are most in need, the CMA CGM Foundation has decided to pursue its commitment through ″CMA CGM SUPPORTS LEBANON″ operations, which was launched last December. More than 50 000 families will benefit from the Group’s support, which will ensure food distribution or donations to 23 Lebanese associations including:
Lebanese Food Bank, Beit el Baraka, Sesobel, Irap, Afel, Oum el Nour, La Voix de la Femme Libanaise, Libami, Anta Akhi, Dar el Amal, Arc en Ciel, Offre Joie, Amel, SOS Village d’Enfants, Rifaq el Darb, Centre de la Jeunesse Catholique (CJC) , Saint Vincent de Paul, Tahaddi, Lebanon Needs, Les Enfants de Lumière, Achrafieh 2020, l’Ecoute.
During these exceptional times, the Group, which has always supported Lebanon through its maritime and logistics activities, reaffirms more than ever its socio-economic commitment to all Lebanese and renews its supports and that of the CMA CGM Foundation towards Lebanese hospitals and NGO’s, in their efforts to help families in need.
