The award-winning private island resort invites Middle Eastern families and couples to celebrate Eid in the Maldives with a special summer package.
Abu Dhabi, June 11th 2017 – The St Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort has launched a new summer package for families and couples in time to celebrate Eid. The ‘Summer in Paradise’ offer is an opportunity to relax with loved ones in one of the world’s most coveted destinations.
The package is available from June 7 until August 31, 2017 and includes several exclusive benefits including 20% off room rates, a daily breakfast buffet at ALBA Restaurant, complimentary USD 100 food and beverage credits per adult per day and bubbly upon arrival. Additionally, kids aged 12 years and below stay and dine for free.
Those holidaying under the ‘Summer in Paradise’ package can make use of the food and beverage credits at any of the 6 dining locations, which range from a Middle Eastern pop-up restaurant, to an underground wine cellar which offers a five-course degustation menu. A complimentary breakfast buffet is served at the hotel’s all-day, signature restaurant, which serves specialties such as poached egg with orange hollandaise and black truffles.
Whilst parents relax on the private cabanas of the Maldives’ pristine white-sand beaches, the resort’s youngest guests can enjoy a variety of activities at the supervised Children’s Club. Activities include a soul-satisfying yoga class complete with meditation, a cooking course in their dedicated children’s kitchen, or creative arts and crafts including origami and painting. There are also dedicated babysitting facilities.
For the more adventurous spirit, the resort has a dive and watersports centre that offers activities such as snorkelling, deep-sea fishing, windsurfing, kayaking, or speed boating.
Designed with great respect to its natural surroundings, the resort is surrounded by a large ‘House Reef’ and the island is defined by several distinct ecological areas: lagoon, beach, coastal and jungle. At the St Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, guests have the luxury of staying in one of the 77 island and overwater villas, shrouded in lush tropical flora, each with a private pool.
The resort’s overwater Iridium spa features six private couple treatment suites, a steam room, sauna and the Blue Hole Pool, the Maldives’ largest heated seawater hydrotherapy pool. There is also a yoga and meditation studio, exercise studio and tennis court.
