New Chief Executive takes N-Sea Helm

N-Sea Holding has announced the appointment of Arno van Poppel as Chief Executive of the subsea IMR services provider.

Mr van Poppel succeeds Gerard Keser, who steps down from his current role after eight years with the company to take up a position on the company’s advisory board.

With a solid track record in the marine contracting environment, Mr van Poppel has contributed to the growth and transformation of companies such as Fabricom and Boskalis Subsea Cables & Flexibles (formally VBMS), creating market leaders renowned for their innovative solutions and focus upon both customer service and delivery.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr van Poppel said: “My experience aligns with the development of N-Sea, and I believe that the company is a thriving, independent platform which is ready for further growth. As we work in alliance with our partners in a number of key disciplines, I look forward to helping shape the company into a top tier player in the subsea infrastructure arena.”

Mr Keser added:“I will be leaving the executive role within N-Sea knowing that a solid strategy, together with a strong and experienced management team is in place. The company is in excellent shape to take advantage of the many opportunities for growth.”

N-Sea specialises in subsea services for the renewable, oil and gas, and utility industries, as well as for civil contracting communities. With a focus on safe and efficient operations, N-Sea provides offshore survey and IMR services to subsea asset operators and tier 1 contractors.

N-Sea also installs, inspects, repairs and maintains infrastructures throughout their entire lifecycle.

With a safe environment of the highest priority, N-Sea aims to deliver sound solutions to its customers, realising that in harsh and challenging environments, the best solutions are often simple ones. N-Sea works with a variety of business partners depending on the project.
