Beirut, April 2016: For the fifth time in a row, consumers in Lebanon proclaimed Tanmia, one of the leading and most innovative poultry companies in the Middle East, as Product of the Year 2016 in Chicken category. Committed to Excellence, Tanmia Agricultural Development Company won the award for its “Fresh Line” products, at the glamorous Product of The Year Awards Ceremony, held at Eau De Vie in Phoenicia Hotel, Beirut. The prestigious award that rewards innovation in the FMCG sector through an independent consumer survey, honored this year’s most innovative consumer products in a remarkable gala dinner, in the presence of hundreds invitees, distinguished business guests and media partners.
Tanmia’s “Fresh Line” features a full portfolio of fresh chicken products, from whole chicken to all possible cut-ups, divided in two sub-lines; the Fresh Premium and Fresh Family. The Fresh Premium line offers a wide variety of first-class fresh chicken products, cleaned and pre-packed, for convenience and safety purposes. As for the Fresh Family line, it presents chicken parts in family sizes, offering greater value for a small price.

Participants were also asked to suggest innovative product ideas for the company to develop in the future. The activity resulted in great engagement and participation rate, bringing Tanmia closer to its consumers.
