- NEXO continues Hyundai’s momentum toward the industry’s most diverse CUV powertrain lineup
LAS VEGAS, January 16, 2018 – Already one of the most talked about technologies at the 2018 Consumer Electronic Show (CES), Hyundai’s newly unveiled 2019 NEXO Fuel Cell Vehicle has won the Reviewed.com Editor’s Choice award for the show. Following review of hundreds of products at CES, the publication’s recognition highlights the NEXO as a key product in both the tech and automotive space for 2018.
One of 34 products to be recognized out of the tens of thousands displayed at this year’s CES, the award stems from the NEXO for its potential to help the hydrogen-powered vehicle space grow and its 370-mile range, along with the fact that its only tailpipe emission is water.

Reviewed.com’s Editor’s Choice award is chosen by a team of editors and researchers who comb through the vast number of products at CES every year to choose the ones consumers will “actually buy in 2018,” foregoing the conceptual for those products that will actually be useful and available for consumers in 2018.
NEXO is Hyundai’s second-generation of commercialized fuel cell electric vehicle that will be available in select markets around the world starting in early 2018. Improving upon the acclaimed Tucson FCEV, the NEXO’s 370 mile range is an improvement of 105 miles over its predecessor. Moreover, the vehicle boasts improved acceleration and power, ability to handle extreme temperature and environments and safety technology such as Blind-sport View Monitor and Lane Following Assist.
