Germania commences nonstop flights to Zurich, Switzerland – one way starting from 99 CHF. Connections to the Balearic Island of Mallorca are granted. Beirut, 03 May 2016 – Germania Airline takes up flights, for the first time, between Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport and Zurich Airport. Starting 01 May 2016, the Zurich-based airline will commence the only nonstop connection from Beirut to the city in the heart of Switzerland, every Friday and Monday. With its location directly at the shore of Lake Zurich, a vibrant nightlife, wide selection of museums and galleries to explore, as well as the world famous “Bahnhofstrasse”, Zurich is one of the most exiting cities in Switzerland, and is known as one of the best destinations for a city break. Due to the close proximity, Zurich is also the perfect starting point for a visit to other cities like Lucerne and St. Gallen, or a trip to the Swiss Alps with its famous mountains Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Tobias Somandin, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zurich-based Germania: “We are very pleased by the strong demand out of Beirut and are proud to add a direct link between the two cities. Our flights to Zurich are aimed at both leisure and business travelers, as well as those visiting friends and relatives in Switzerland.” A special benefit for leisure travelers: the flights from Beirut to Zurich can be connected to the daily flights from Zurich to the Balearic island of Mallorca.
