In line with its mission to improve farmers’ livelihoods and create economic opportunities in the agriculture sector, Georges N.Frem Foundation launched the “Farmer Business School” program which aims at developing the producers’ skills in managing their agricultural projects. The workshop addresses several topics such as agricultural entrepreneurship, record-keeping, production costs and pricing analysis, sales and marketing, and investment.
The program is attended by farmers from all over Lebanon, and runs for five weeks. At the end of which, participants will receive a certificate of attendance and participation, as well as booklets on the program and implementation methods.
