Fratelli Rossetti opens the doors of its second boutique in Beirut at ABC Verdun, prime retail and entertainment destination in town. On October 5th, Holdal Group and Diego Rossetti inaugurated the new store during an evening of swing dancing, from 6 to 9pm, under the auspices of the Embassy of Italy in Lebanon. In this occasion, a sophisticated and elegant Fall/Winter collection was presented, revisiting the 1940s style in a contemporary way.
The design of the new boutique pays tribute to craftsmanship: the artisanal techniques used to create Fratelli Rossetti footwear inspired the composition, design and materials in the new store. The colouring processes used on the leather are brought to mind by the old, faded teak flooring and the Turkish rugs, which are naturally dyed and washed out deliberately to bring out the original patterns. The handmade decorations and the brushed concrete wall in tobacco, evoke the raw, rough, yet luxurious ambiance. The chrome metals and the burnished brass used in the display backdrops give the boutique a sophisticated allure that is reminiscent of the superior, high-quality materials selected for Fratelli Rossetti’s craft products.
ABC Verdun is very strategic site in one of Beirut’s toniest districts. Occupying a prime corner on Beirut’s upper-class shopping avenue, ABC Verdun will be the new heart of shopping and entertainment for an already thriving upscale district. The building reflects a Mediterranean sensibility of openness and connectivity combined with casual modernity appropriate to its forward-looking position.
Fratelli Rossetti was founded in 1953 by the visionary genius Renzo Rossetti in Parabiago, just outside Milan. At the time, a national fashion industry was just beginning to develop in Italy. The company is now run by the brothers Diego, Dario and Luca from the second generation of the family. With their dedication and devotion, they have taken the company to its 60th anniversary and beyond, with a constant focus on quality at all times. Over the years, the brand has become synonymous with style in Italy and across the globe. It embodies the values of unparalleled craftsmanship.
