Monday, April 3rd (Manama- Bahrain)- The Bahrain International Property Exhibition announced the launch of its 10th edition in Downtown Rotana, Manama on March 29th. The Kingdom of Bahrain’s premier real estate exhibition will be held on October 26th-28th, 2017 at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre in Manama. The three-day event is being held under the patronage of H.E Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Bipex 2017 returns to underscore the critical role of the Kingdom’s economic diversification by highlighting its major achievements in infrastructure, real estate, leisure projects and the pipeline of competitively valued and attractive offerings. This year’s edition will strive to shed light on development in the Kingdom and promoting new investment opportunities that are available.
During the past decade, as Bipex has grown and positioned itself as a key regional property exhibition. For several years, it has become an unmissable business platform for local and regional exhibitors in the real estate sector to showcase their projects for both visitors and investors. In addition, the Bipex forums serve as a platform bringing together experts to exchange views and experiences in the real estate field.
Mr. Mohammed Khalil Alsayed is the Chairman of this Organizing Committee for BIPEX said “Bipex will be stronger and better this year in terms of adding larger local exhibitors and showcasing newly launched projects of regional and international players. The 2016 edition of the event attracted more than 8,000 unique visitors, 24% of which were from outside Bahrain including significant B2B traffic. Over 3 days, and a total of 40 exhibitors showcased real estate assets worth US $20 billion.
Also speaking at the Conference, Mr. Masoud Al Hermi, President of the Bahrain Society of Engineers added; “During the past decade, as Bipex has grown and positioned itself as a key regional property exhibition, so has emerged Bahrain as regional destination of choice for real estate investment. As we embark on our 10th Exhibition, we aim bring a fundamental transformation to our exhibition as the real estate market itself undergoes an unprecedented transformation.” Building on 2016 we aim to assemble Bahrain’s largest gathering of Real Estate projects and to provide them the opportunity to engage with investors, buyers, financiers and the public from across the region to showcase their own success stories. He added.
At the press conference, Bipex announced that it has laid plans for an innovative marketing and public relations campaign for its 2017 exhibition valued at approx. One million US dollars. The campaign includes traditional print and outdoor advertising, but also leverages social media platforms, web-based ads and for the first time uses TV advertising. Bipex announced a partnership with OSN (Orbit-Showtime Network) for its 2017 exhibition that will target real-estate investors and purchasers across the GCC and the region.
As Bahrain’s leading property show, BIPEX holds a significant spot in the Kingdom’s real estate industry calendar of events. Being a professionally organized non-profit event, it serves as a bellwether for the industry, offers a platform to its current happenings and directions it is heading to, and promotes the region’s major infrastructures and real estate properties. The Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE) is the premier body representing engineering professionals in the Kingdom. The BSE is tasked with organizing and presenting each BIPEX event in Bahrain.

It maintains close links with the government and academia that include leading universities. It also has annual contact programs with secondary school students to promote the engineering profession and encourage the youth to take up engineering as a career. One of its successful non-profit annual events is the Bahrain International Property Exhibition or BIPEX, which launched its first edition in 2004 and has now come to occupy a premier position in the real estate and property exhibition event calendar in the Kingdom and surrounding countries.
