The Alzheimer’s Association in Lebanon opened its Day Care Centers in Dekweneh and Ashrafieh, where people with early and middle Alzheimer’s stages can participate in educational, entertaining, musical and physical activities. In addition, participants spends quality time while interacting and socializing in a safe environment.
Both centers have psychotherapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, dietitians and beauticians.
The specialized team conducts interactive activities that focuses on concentration, memory, speech, physical activities, arts, craft and music. In addition to the beauty services that are offered.
The centers provides the treating physician with a monthly report that allows him to track the improvements.
