The youth of today are a valuable resource for a country, as they have the fervour and energy that are seen to be essential for the general progress of the same. Youth are full of vigour and intellectual capacity that, if used well, might help change the unseen into visible, the struggles into victories, and the hard work into success, resulting in the total growth of an individual and the nation.
They are also better equipped to play more significant roles in their societies as a result of their education, exposure to cutting-edge communication technologies, and scientific advancement. By fostering a culture that values young people’s opinions, we can look back on outdated practises and viewpoints and evaluate them from a new perspective.
Giving youth opportunities to express their opinions, discuss ideas, and talk to an audience of people their own age provides them a sense of assurance and authenticity. These days, youth are active across a variety of platforms and have a great affinity for peers who may be influencers, politicians, activists, actors, authors, and a host of other professions. A number of platforms are available in the Arab media for the youth to voice their concerns, such as ‘Tele Therapie’, that offers daily doses of inspirational stories for the Arab youth, through a series of discussions aimed at addressing their issues. Leading experts take part in these shows to help find important pain points and offer efficient solutions.
When these individuals share their thoughts, ideas, experiences, knowledge, and youthful deeds, it serves as an example for other young people. These personal stories that serve as a resource to seek guidance and support from people their own age will always be an original and practical way. They can be used to hear other young people speak about overcoming obstacles, learning how to develop confidence, or sharing personal stories of inspiration.
Giving people the chance and the platform to express their own thoughts, judgments, and pieces of advice is transformational in and of itself. It gives young people the freedom to express themselves while also appreciating their thoughts and values, which is crucial for their social and personal development. Our responsibility as adults is to establish a secure environment in which they can communicate freely and have meaningful conversations.
Youth are less likely to engage in unhealthy, mistaken habits and discover their motivation and aspire to achieve their goals when they feel safe, secure, loved, and accepted. The youth represent the potential for better, more creative, and more successful responses to the problems facing the globe.
