“The future is digital” is the motto of A2Z Media, the ambitious digital marketing agency that has been pushing the boundaries of internet marketing in the MENA region since 2015. We had a little chat with its co-founder and managing partner, Elie Charbel, who, with his passion for digital marketing and a strong work ethic, is taking the company to new heights.
1/ What were your motivations behind starting A2Z Media?
I came to Qatar for a visit in 2014. During my stay I noticed that multiple global companies from F&B, Automotive and many more industries did not have any online presence; I mean any.
Landed Burger King as my first client and snowball effect.
6 years later we are operating in Qatar, KSA, UAE and Lebanon with more than 100+ team members.
2/ How would you describe A2Z Media?
We are a full-service and multi-cultural digital marketing agency and we’re proud of our company’s diversity. It means we don’t get stuck in a rut and can count on obtaining the best of both worlds when it comes to the expertise we can provide. Everyone at A2Z Media, whether in our Qatar, Saudi Arabia or Lebanon offices, and from our multilingual geniuses to our designers, techies, innovators, and creators, has one thing in common: the desire to get results and actually make a difference, as well as to assist our customers in their growth.
3/ What types of services do you offer to your clients?
When someone is looking to transform their company, that’s when we come in.
We provide everything from paid media, brand design, content marketing, to development.
4/ The whole world is facing unprecedented times and challenges. How is your digital marketing agency helping your customers to face these challenges?
Many businesses that had never considered themselves being online or didn’t care about their online presence had no choice but to change their ways and adapt especially when the COVID-19 pandemic started, and they all witnessed the impact of how powerful and significant it is.
5/ What do you like the most about your work?
I am grateful because I love what I do; there is no place for routine as the digital world is constantly changing and evolving, every day we learn and discover new technologies, new trends, which helps keep the passion and the drive ignited.
6/ What do you see as the biggest challenges in the future for the digital marketing industry?
After the unexpected changes of 2020, I don’t expect things to return to normal in 2022. Many of the previous year’s interruptions will persist. Even after the pandemic, e-commerce and virtual events are certain to grow. To flourish in 2022 and beyond, we need to be extra mindful of targeting the right customers, growing our brand, and keeping up with social media and digital trends.
