In its mission of people of action to support the Lebanese hospitals and its population, the Rotary Club Beirut Cedars represented by its president P. Hagop Dantziguian provided Oxygen concentrators to different NGOs since the beginning of the year 2021.
Wishing to support this Lebanese project, the President of Rotary Club Tours Plumerau of Lebanese Origins, P. Robert Chidiac decided to call for help from his colleagues in France.
District 1720, the Inter Country Committee France-Lebanon and clubs of Loches, Colmar Bartholdi, Vesoul, Dijon Cote d’Or, Beaune, Dijon Bourgogne, Dijon Ducs de Bourgogne, Bayonne Biarritz Anglet, Chalon Bourgogne Niepce et Club Saintes answered the call.
40 additional Oxygen Generators have been sent to Lebanon and distributed on Tursday May 4th At Farra Design Center in Mkalles to the total of 28 clubs in Lebanon listed below. This increased the number of Oxygen Concentrators supplied by Rotary Club Beirut Cedars to Lebanon to 90 since the begging of the pandemic.
These units will be shortly handed over to more than 28 dispensers and institutions in Lebanon to help the entire country fight COVID-19. Beneficiaries are Ajialouna Association – Tripoli, Batroun Ozanam Clinic, Darb El Sama – Sahel Alma, Dar Al Ajaza of Madinet Riadyeh Dispensaries of Abey, Ain Saadeh, Betir El Chouf , Brotherhood of the Sad Mother, Mazraat Yachouh, Nabay, St. Antoine Greek Catholic, Ter Harfa, Federation of Saida El Zahrani Municipalities, Hammana Civil Defense, Islamic Charitable Society, Primary Health Care Center, Karagheusian Center, Kfarmatta Medical Center, Municipalities of Aley, Babliyeh, Bechmezzine, Bhamdoun, Byblos, Mtayleb, Zgharta Ehden, Nabatieh Medical Assistance, Righteous Orthodox Christian Society in El Mina, Shalifa Shelter, Tripoli Governmental Hospital and Women’s Volunteer Committee – Sahel Alma.

Furthermore, Rotary Club of Beirut Cedars would like to express its gratitude to the Lebanese Armed Forces who allowed the fast clearance of the medical material to be supplied to the population in the shortest times.
