A space for beauty, creativity, and an opportunity for a better to all Lebanese
With great enthusiasm and despite everything happening in the country, a large number of social media influencers and experts in the fields of physical and mental health, movement, health resorts, and experts in the field of sports, in addition to media people and officials attended the opening of the Beauty and Wellbeing Forum 2024 which specializes in multiple fields related all aspects of the human life.
The forum, which will be organized at the Forum de Beirut from April 18 to 21, 2024, and sponsored by the Ministries of Information and Economy, will include a large number of lectures, seminars, and round tables related to many aspects of individuals’ lives, especially in terms of providing advice on changing lifestyle, preventive medicine, and a new and comprehensive view of human health far and wide
The opening ceremony included meetings with the forum’s ambassadors, and witnessed opening speeches by sponsors, organizers and officials.
The founder of the forum, Mrs. Hanadi Dagher, began the opening ceremony with a warm welcome speech in which she explained the reason behind establishing the forum, how it affected her life, and that everything we are witnessing today came as a result of a tireless and continuous effort throughout an entire year to achieve a dream that she and her co-founder, Dr. Jad Nehme, had.
She said in her speech: “Despite everything that is happening around us, and despite the war in Lebanon, we decided to swim against the current and put Lebanon on the map of international exhibitions.
Dagher concluded in an expressive message to Lebanese women, saying: “Do not give up, and do not give up on your dreams. There is nothing impossible when will meets dream, and this is the story of the forum.”
Co-founder Dr. Jad Nehme spoke about the importance of the Wellbeing movement, physical and mental health. He said: “This forum came to remind us that Lebanon is a country that deserves to live and that we also deserve Lebanon. Out of my love for my country and my belief that the human being is a priority in it, and because of our need for a better horizo, we decided to work to improve human health.” He then added: “The time has come to witness a new birth of the human being in Lebanon. To work on psychological comfort and human happiness”.
The Lebanese Minister of Information in the caretaker government, Engineer Ziad Makari, spoke about the reasons that made him support the forum and give it sponsorship, saying: “We wish this forum and its organizers every success, hoping that Lebanon will remain a country of life and a message of hope to all the peoples of the world, and that Beirut will remain the capital of beauty and luxury.”
As for the Director General of the Ministry of Economy, Dr. Mohammad Abou Haidar, he stressed that the existence of these forums is a bright for Lebanon’s economy and said: “We thank the organizers of the forum, as it would present a new opportunity to the Lebanese people who suffer from the pressures of daily life.”
He continued, saying: “These exhibitions are important in attracting foreign investments to the country and restoring confidence, especially in the private sector in Lebanon, which helps provide and create labor opportunities and stimulate growth.”
As for Dr. George Aoun, Vice President of the Forum, he considered that: “Focusing on mental health is extremely important, especially in this delicate circumstance that the Lebanese people are living in. It is also an occasion to raise awareness about the latest research, medicines, modern treatments, modern medical technology and equipment, in addition to exploring a lifestyle that nourishes mind, body and spirit at the same time.”
WLA President Mrs. Madiha Raslan, considered that “The Forum is an occasion and an invitation for all segments of society, for families, regardless of their income and social level, to come and learn about the many ways to maintain physical and psychological health”.
