Beirut, Monday September 8th, 2025 – On the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day, September 8, 2025, the LAU Medical Center–Rizk Hospital Mobile Clinic conducted its 215th mission, Destination 400, at the Barbara Nassar Association in Achrafieh. This milestone not only celebrates the Mobile Clinic’s 400th outreach destination but also honors physiotherapy in a deeply compassionate way, bringing care and support directly to cancer patients through this meaningful collaboration with the non-profit organization.
The initiative brought together the LAU Medical Center–Rizk Hospital’s dedicated physiotherapy team to raise awareness about the essential role of physiotherapy in enhancing the quality of life for cancer patients.
During the visit, the team raised awareness on the importance of physiotherapy and physical activity, starting by a presentation and followed by guided exercises and interactive activities tailored to the needs of 30 cancer patients, aiming to empower them with practical tools for their well-being.
In addition to the therapeutic sessions, patients were gifted thoughtful giveaways to create moments of joy and encouragement throughout the day.
This collaboration underscores LAU Medical Center–Rizk Hospital’s mission to extend compassionate, patient-centered care beyond its premises, while emphasizing the importance of physiotherapy as an integral component of cancer care and rehabilitation.
