Building on the success of its pioneering robotic surgery training programs, IRCAD Lebanon will host its Second Multivisceral Robotic Surgery Course on Saturday, 25 July 2026, under the direction of Dr. Antoine Maalouf, President of IRCAD Lebanon and CEO of Hôpital Français du Levant.
The course will feature internationally renowned experts Dr. Luca Theuil (CHU Nîmes, France) and Dr. Ali Choukr, Hepatobiliary Program Director at IRCAD Lebanon. Participants will benefit from expert lectures and live robotic surgery transmissions from the operating room to the Jacques Marescaux Hall, providing an interactive educational experience and valuable clinical insights into advanced robotic procedures.
As the first IRCAD center in the Middle East, IRCAD Lebanon continues to strengthen its role as a regional center of excellence in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. Through world-class training and collaboration with leading international experts, the center is equipping surgeons from Lebanon and across the region with the latest knowledge and techniques to improve patient care.
