In line with its continuous mission to heal with compassion, LAU Medical Center has expanded its operation to the north by acquiring Saint John’s Hospital in Jounieh.
As part of the preparatory phase, His Excellency the Minister of Health Dr. Jamil Jabak visited the premises for a tour of the hospital in the presence of Dr. Selim Hani, the hospital Director, Dr. Wadih Ghaname Medical Director of LAU Medical Center – Saint John’s Hospital, Dr. Michel Mawad , Dean of the LAU Gilbert & Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine, Mr. Sami Rizk and Dr. Georges Ghanem CEO & CMO of the LAU Medical Center – Rizk Hospital in addition to other officials from the Lebanese American University and in presence of a delegation of priests from the apostles congregation led by Father Maroun Moubarak head of the congregation, and Father Elie Madi who handled all the coordination with LAU Medical Center.
LAU Medical Center Saint – John’s Hospital is being equipped with the latest state of the art medical equipment and is set to open its door and will start receiving patients towards the second half of 2020.
