GlobeMed Group, the leading healthcare benefits management company in the MENA region, conducted its first Executive Seminar of the year at Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace Hotel, Lebanon over two days on the 30th and 31st of January, 2020. The seminar was attended by the General Managers of GlobeMed’s 12 Operations along with the executive team members from across the region.
The seminar focused on the strategic planning for the Operations and the Group. It was an opportunity to align the vision of the entire organization in order to maintain GlobeMed’s leadership position in the market which evolved over the last three decades.
Key strategic plans were put on the table involving the continuous digital transformation of the organization, which is anchored around the move from the legacy system to Phoenix. Built upon GlobeMed’s know-how and extensive experience in TPA business, Phoenix shall bring a higher level of technologies through various dedicated modules to each stakeholder allowing GlobeMed to ensure its continuing success in delivering high quality services to its clients.
The seminar unveiled GlobeMed’s risk management strategic vision as part of the organization’s fully resilient business continuity plans. The vision outlined major pillars in managing risks to ensure continuity of operations to GlobeMed’s clients and their insured members in case of disasters.
International Health Services took center stage on the second day of the seminar, demonstrating the significance of GlobeMed’s regional presence and introducing its new vision for providing premier customer experience to members seeking healthcare in the region and around the world.
Concluding the seminar, e-transaction and data protection laws in the markets where GlobeMed operates were discussed as part of GlobeMed’s vision to streamline its clients and users journey by moving towards paperless electronic transactions, and to be in compliance with all the required data security measures while processing personal data.
