October 26, 2020: Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) has launched “Show Your Support” campaign in solidarity with raising awareness about breast cancer, aiming to bring the community together and honouring patients and survivors.
As part of the campaign that will be running until the end of October, Al Murabaa Watchtower, the most famous landmark in Ajman, will glow in pink colour. The campaign also includes an educational seminar in collaboration with Ajman Speciality General Hospital and a donation campaign in partnership with Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, and Al Ihsan Charity Association that provided over the past two years treatment for 28 breast cancer patients at a value of AED 1.7 million, in collaboration with Dubai Hospital, Thumbay Hospital, Al Ihsan Medical Complex, Latifa Hospital, Advanced Care Oncology Center, Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital – Ras Al Khaimah, University Hospital Sharjah, Saudi German Hospital, Al Zahra Hospital.
As part of the campaign, Ajman Speciality General Hospital is offering free breast cancer screening throughout October for all women until Thursday, October 29.
“Show Your Support” comprised an educational seminar held at City Center Ajman in collaboration with Ajman Speciality General Hospital, Al Ihsan Charity Association and Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation on Thursday, October 22, in addition to a donation campaign for cancer patients in partnership with Al Ihsan Charity Association launched on the same day.
Hotel Establishments have also contributed to the campaign through several activities. Ajman Hotel, Radisson Blue and Caravana Resort are providing special offers to the guests as part of the campaign. Also, Ajman Saray Hotel and Bahi Ajman Palace conducted a series of awareness activities and events for their employees that included awareness workshops on breast cancer and prevention measures along with free breast cancer screening for female employees.
Ajman Tourism Development Department organized a workshop on October 25th for the department’s employees to enhance the awareness aspects, as well as the prevention measures and early detection of the disease.

Through this campaign, we aim to increase public awareness of breast cancer to limit the spread of the disease wishing health and safety to all.”
