Roger Zaccar, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Comin, celebrated his 47th birthday during a special evening held at Bar National in Dbayeh, attended by nearly 1,000 guests, including friends, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and prominent figures from various companies and institutions. This year, the celebration carried a meaningful social and humanitarian dimension.
Under the theme “Another Year. Another Story Worth Telling,” Zaccar chose to turn his birthday into more than a personal celebration. A donation box was set up during the event to raise funds for Enfants de Neptune (ENB), an association based in Achrafieh, in support of its initiative to establish a basketball court and encourage a new generation of children and young people to practice the sport, follow it, and develop their passion for basketball.
During the evening, Youmna Bachir Gemayel, Roger Zaccar’s wife, spoke about the project and its objectives, highlighting the importance of investing in young people and creating spaces where they can practice sports, develop their skills, and grow in a positive and motivating environment.
For his part, Roger Zaccar delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing his gratitude to everyone who had chosen to share this special occasion with him. He reflected on the value of the present moment and the beauty of life in an era when technology and knowledge have opened doors to opportunities that were once unimaginable for previous generations.
Zaccar emphasized that we are living in an extraordinary period in history, where many of our dreams and aspirations have become more achievable than ever before. He encouraged his guests to appreciate the present, embrace life’s beautiful moments, and, above all, cherish the people with whom these experiences are shared.
Concluding his speech, Zaccar shared a message of love, optimism, and encouragement with his friends and guests, thanking them for being part of another chapter of his life. He stressed that the true value of such occasions lies not only in the celebration itself, but also in the people with whom memories are created and in the ability to transform a personal milestone into an opportunity for generosity and giving back.
Roger Zaccar’s 47th birthday thus brought together celebration, friendship, and humanitarian commitment in an elegant, white-themed evening that conveyed a simple yet meaningful message: Another year… another story worth telling.
