Creditbank and Mastercard Launch Combo Card with Dual Debit and Credit Functionality

Unique product introduced as a first of its kind payment card in Lebanon and the region Beirut, Lebanon, November 15, 2016: Creditbank s.a.l. in collaboration with Mastercard, a leading technology company in the global payments industry, recently announced the launch of a unique Mastercard Combo Card that can be used as both a credit and debit card. The card was launched at Four Seasons Hotel Beirut, in the presence of a number of senior officials including Mr. Freddy Zraick, General Manager of Creditbank s.a.l, Adam Jones, Head of Commercial Products, Middle East and Africa, Mastercard, members of the media and a crowd of attendees. As the first of its kind payment card to be introduced in Lebanon and the Arab world, the innovative Combo Card with dual functionality provides holders with an increased level of freedom, flexibility and convenience with a single card that can be used for both credit and debit transactions. For optimal security, the card is both chip and PIN-protected, while also offering cardholders the extra advantage of being able to unify PIN codes for both credit and debit accounts associated with the card. Cardholders can use the Mastercard Combo Card at all Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals or ATMs, while also receiving a wide range of benefits offered by Creditbank, including: a complimentary Priority Pass membership card offering access to over 950 airport lounges worldwide, a free supplementary card for the first year, free online and mobile banking services, allowing them to access their accounts while on-the-go, and free membership to the Creditbank loyalty program with a welcome gift of 50 points.
