About Tarun Tahiliani
Tarun Tahiliani is a pioneering Indian fashion designer renowned for blending traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary Western tailoring. Born in Mumbai in 1962, he co-founded India’s first multi-designer boutique, Ensemble, in 1987, alongside his wife Sailaja. In 1995, he established the Tarun Tahiliani Design Studio, which has since become a hallmark of luxury fashion in India.
Tahiliani’s signature style combines luxurious Indian textiles and embroidery with modern silhouettes, creating pieces that are both timeless and avant-garde. His work has garnered international acclaim, with collections showcased at prestigious fashion weeks in Milan, Paris, London, New York, and Tokyo.
