ELIE SAAB Fall-Winter 2021/22 continues to celebrate the strong feminine mystique with a diverse ready-to-wear collection that exudes power in an ongoing conversation between soft and bold, flow and structure, delicate and wild.
She is an inviting storyteller, wearing pronounced feminine silhouettes in all absorbing black, her tone of choice. Sometimes she plays with transparency, teasing in long ruffled layers of tulle and lace, full macrame suits, and breathy sheer polka-dot overlays. At other times she is more discreet in oversized laser-cut fringe coats, a sleek plisse caped dress with a pronounced monogram belt, or form fitting crepe dresses with a shimmering sequin back.
Her tales are embroidered with moments of metallic silver and gold that cascade between floral and art deco inspired motifs. A prominent lime popping color varies from soft silks to embroidered floral patterns. The patterns may take over, engulfing her body in geometric movement, or simply serve to highlight her shape. Deep green sequins give fresh layers and depth to these remarkable looks. Pink lapel feathered embellishment contours the collars and sleeves accentuating feminine flowy forms.
She has an eloquent imagination, and will keep you on your toes with sudden plot twists, pairing thigh-high leather boots with a beaded caped romper or creating illusions in a check print skirt suit with ballooning organza sleeves. Though embellished at times, her stories have a timeless appeal, like the recognizable ELIE SAAB cinched waist, monogram detailing and plunging neck lines that seamlessly move from season to season, and effortlessly carry her from day to night.
With the ELIE SAAB Ready-to-Wear Fall-Winter 2021/22 collection, she has the vocabulary to spin her fantasies true. She is the story-teller after all, penning her own worlds and creating her own destinies.
