IAA Lebanon launched its first “IAA Café Chat” on June 1st, 2021, with award-winning guest Mr. Walid Kanaan, Chief Creative Officer at TBWA/RAAD. The online session titled “What Makes a Creative Mind” started with an opening note by Mr. Joe Ayache, president of IAA Lebanon, explaining about this initiative.
On another hand, Mr. Kanaan enriched the attendees with his experience & insights on the creative field.
He also shared his success mantra with his very own “Ten Creative Commandments” focusing on bravery, anarchism, storytelling, amongst many other great tips.
The attendees’ portfolio varied from agency creatives, executives, media, soon-to-be professionals, & clients.
At the end, Mr. Melhem Rechdan, IAA Young Professionals Acting President, moderated the interactive Q&A section.
About the IAA
The IAA-Lebanon Chapter was founded in 1961 to become part of the IAA Global initiated in 1938 in New York, with now tens of chapters around the world. The IAA aims at defending and advocating the Advertising role, as well as supporting freedom of speech.
More than 100 professionals of the Advertising industry form the Lebanon Chapter as individual members and 5 Lebanese were elected worldwide presidents of the IAA global.
