The massive production deputing for the national occasion paid tribute to the UAE’s Founding Fathers, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, featuring an impressive display of 600 drones.
Aligning with this year’s #ZayedAndRashid nationwide campaign, the 15-minute drone show surpassed all expectations and took the audience on a captivating journey through the past, present, and future of the UAE, leaving guests in awe. The show undoubtedly stood out as the defining highlight of the Global Village’s UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad celebrations during this destination’s Season 29.
The epic display commenced by depicting the UAE before the union, with a focus on the nomadic lifestyle and the pearl diving expeditions carried out by sailors in the past. The story timeline gradually transitioned into the historic milestone of the UAE’s union’s founding, illustrating how His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum joined forces with the vision to unite the emirates. This central moment was brought to life, as the historic photo of the Founding Fathers of the seven emirates emerged, symbolising their wider inspirational vision. In an astonishing scene, as the map of the UAE got seamlessly shaped, the UAE flag was instantly formed, signifying the birth of one, solid united Emirati nation.
The drone show shifted to a stunning portrayal of the United Arab Emirates remarkable transformation as a flourishing and forward-thinking country, before concluding with a thriving vision of a bright, innovative and sustainable future the UAE is shaping and will continue to underscore in the years ahead. The show was followed by a spectacular fireworks display, highlighting the UAE flag colours and illuminating the sky above the destination, creating a breathtaking visual finale.
